Kazam, an industry leader in e-mobility and energy management solutions, made a remarkable debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, showcasing two groundbreaking innovations that promise to revolutionize India’s electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. The company’s LEVDC fast charger for electric two- and three-wheelers, along with its state-of-the-art Energy Management System (EMS) for e-buses, are designed to address some of the most pressing challenges in the rapidly growing EV ecosystem.
The LEVDC fast charger is one of the key innovations unveiled at the expo, offering an incredibly fast charging solution for electric vehicles. The charger is specifically designed for two-wheelers, which can now be charged from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes, and three-wheelers, which can reach the same charge level in one hour. With this technology, Kazam aims to significantly reduce the time spent on charging, addressing one of the most significant concerns for EV users: charging time.
Building on its commitment to infrastructure development, Kazam has already deployed 150 LEVDC chargers as part of its expansive network, which covers over 5,000 pincodes in India. The company plans to roll out an additional 2,000 LEVDC chargers over the next 12 months, strengthening its public charging network in collaboration with major industry players such as TVS, Hero MotoCorp, Mahindra, Matter Energy, and EMO Energy. These partnerships underscore Kazam’s efforts to create a robust and reliable charging infrastructure that supports the growing demand for electric vehicles across India.
Kazam’s Energy Management System (EMS) for e-buses is another highlight of the company’s efforts to facilitate India’s transition to sustainable mobility. The EMS is a comprehensive, digitized solution that manages the charging of e-bus fleets in hubs, optimizing energy usage and automating charge scheduling to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The system addresses the operational complexities involved in managing large-scale electric bus fleets, which are crucial for cities aiming to reduce pollution and promote greener public transportation.
“The transition to e-mobility presents several technological challenges, but Kazam is committed to providing tailored solutions that enable the electrification of all vehicle types, from two-wheelers to large buses,” said Akshay Shekhar, CEO and Co-Founder of Kazam. “With the LEVDC fast charger and our innovative Energy Management System, we are poised to make a lasting impact on India’s EV ecosystem.”
Kazam’s innovations go beyond just products; they represent the company’s strategic focus on solving critical issues within the EV space. For instance, the LEVDC charger addresses common concerns such as range anxiety and long charging times, while the EMS ensures energy efficiency, scalability, and seamless integration for large-scale operations. These solutions are designed to create a seamless experience for both consumers and operators, ultimately accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles across the country.
At its booth at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, Kazam offered live demonstrations of both the LEVDC fast charger and the EMS, showcasing their real-world applications. Visitors were able to experience firsthand how Kazam’s chargers integrate effortlessly with electric two- and three-wheelers, and how the EMS optimizes energy management for e-bus fleets. The booth also featured a live energy counter, highlighting the company’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
Kazam’s presence at the expo is part of the company’s broader strategy to accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy and mobility solutions across India. Since its inception in 2020, Kazam has deployed over 50,000 chargers across 5,000+ pincodes in India, powering more than 550 million green kilometers and reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 40,000 tons annually. The company’s expansion extends beyond India, with a presence in 16 countries, including the UAE, Malaysia, Mauritius, and Myanmar.
The company’s growth has been rapid, with revenues quadrupling year-on-year and its energy output expected to reach 45 GWh by FY25. Kazam’s success is driven not just by its hardware offerings but also by its software capabilities, including charging management systems, energy management systems, and interoperable solutions that provide a seamless user experience across various platforms.
As Kazam continues to expand its footprint, the company remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in e-mobility. With its impressive portfolio of solutions, including charging stations, energy management software, and integrated services for OEMs, fleets, and charging point operators (CPOs), Kazam is well-positioned to lead the charge in the global transition to sustainable mobility.
